Legacy Martial Arts London Shines at AllstarsBJJ Pro Tournament

On Saturday, July 20th, Legacy Martial Arts London proudly attended the AllstarsBJJ Pro Tournament held at SportsDock, University of East London. It was an exhilarating day filled with excitement and invaluable experience for our students, many of whom were competing for the first time.

Participating in their first competition allowed our students to feel the intensity and challenge of facing opponents equally determined to win. This experience is crucial for their growth and development in Brazilian Jiujitsu, teaching them resilience, strategy, and sportsmanship.

As often happens in competitions, we faced the logistical challenge of having our fighters called to different mats simultaneously. This situation proved tricky for Sensei Steve, who found it impossible to be in two places at once. Fortunately, Coach Ryan stepped up admirably, sharing the load and providing guidance to our fighters whenever Sensei Steve was occupied on another mat. A big thank you to Coach Ryan for his dedication and support.

The day wasn't just about the fighters; the spirit of Legacy Martial Arts London shone brightly through the support of our community. It was heartwarming to see so many of our students come out to cheer for their teammates. Their presence and encouragement undoubtedly inspired others to consider competing in future tournaments. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who came out to support the team. Your enthusiasm and support were deeply appreciated by both the coaches and the fighters.

Total Legacy Haul:

  • Arthur 🥈

  • Quentin 🥇

  • Jet (NOGI) 🥇 (Gi) 🥈

  • Reece (NOGI) 🥇

Not bad for a small squad, indeed! The success of our fighters is a testament to their hard work, dedication, and the supportive environment fostered at Legacy Martial Arts London. We look forward to many more victories and memorable moments in the future.

Stay tuned for more updates and be sure to join us in celebrating our achievements and supporting our journey (We will celebrate our 1st Anniversary with an event on August 10th) . Thank you once again to all our students, parents, and supporters. Together, we continue to build a legacy of excellence in martial arts.
